EVENTS
    A PLACE AT THE TABLE, free screening, Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m., Prytania Theatre. Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana screens this documentary, directed by Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush, and featuring actor Jeff Bridges. Refreshments from Second Harvest’s Community Kitchen, then a panel discussion on issues related to hunger and food insecurity, including access and obesity follow. Panelists include Melissa Harry-Perry of MSNBC, Troy Henry of Sterling Farms and Dr. Karen DeSalvo, New Orleans Health Commissioner. Moderator: Second Harvest Food Bank President/CEO Natalie Jayroe.
